I bought myself a domain. I changed my "Internet name" and now this place is about Wissago. Since I'm going with a new design, I should probably update the text here as well. For starters, most people want to know what the hell Wissago means. Its an old name that I found while doing some research. Wissago actually means "Wiseacre" which comes from Middle Dutch wijssegger, "a soothsayer," from Old High German wissago, alteration of wizago, "a prophet." In time it has come to mean "smart ass". I like that last definition best. It suits me perfectly.
Pretty much like this Unicorn drawing suits me. The original artwork is by Ron Leishman of Toon-A-Day Art. It has been tweaked a bit by me, of course. I never leave well enough alone. One of my New Year's Resolutions is to quit taking everything so seriously. When I saw this Unicorn, it cracked me up. Life is, after all, too short to take seriously all of the time.
I am, by nature, a curmudgeon. *grin* Well, not 100% but pretty damn close. What is represented here is my life in a nutshell - the part I share openly anyway. Coffee is over there and I think I put out some teabags as well. Oh yea... its this way to the obligatory "me" information. If you want to check out the website of a truly interesting person, I highly suggest James A. Moore. His writing manages to sneak up on you and hit you when you least suspect it. I also happen to be the Webmaster for his page, so I'm rather proud of it. I'm also very lucky to have friends who keep life a jumbled mess of humor, laughter, tears and escapades.
