This is the obligatory page of facts and pictures about me. OK, where to start? I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I was born here and I have lived here most of my life - although while I was growing up, my family moved all over the United States. I have lived in San Diego - California, Baton Rouge - Louisiana, Baltimore & Silver Springs Maryland as well as Breckenridge & Dillon, Colorado. I love Atlanta with a fierce pride. Savannah, Georgia is one of my favorite places to vacation. One day I'd like to either move back to Colorado or to Providence, Rhode Island. Both places are beautiful beyond words. And the snow is a big attraction for me.

I come from a very large family and on July 10, 2001 the saddest event of my life occurred. My Mother died. She was 71 years old and her health had been failing for a very long time. I don't have the words right now to express the grief that I am feeling. I am very glad that she isn't in pain anymore and that she has, most certainly, gone on to a better place, but I miss her so much... Mom was the finest person I know. She raised 6 children all by herself and she gave so much of herself for others. Every person she touched was effected by the experience. When Mom was in the hospital I'll never forget that once she knew that she was going to die, she became her old self for the days that were left to her. She laughed and joked - and most of all she let everyone dear to her know how much we meant to her. When I suddenly remembered that I didn't have a picture of just the two of us... she consented to having pictures taken. These are memories that I'll treasure for the rest of my life.

I am 42 years old (God... when did that happen!). I work for a major telecommunications corporation in the Commercial Long Distance subsidiary. I actually love my job because it keeps me challenged. I have worked in the Telecom Industry for over 16 years now, with a couple of short forays into Retail (Home Depot is the evil empire!) and selling Telecom Equipment. Now that I'm safely back into the actual Telecom Industry, I am a much happier person.

I have several bios on the Internet - from different groups I work with. I like to stay busy and put my energy into projects. My mind seems to fly in a hundred different directions at once. Not that being completely overwhelmed with ideas is a bad thing - just slightly confusing at times. Life just keeps getting better and better... there are draw backs to be sure, but those are a part of life. One day at a time.
